Returns

Change of Mind Returns

All sales are final for change of mind purchases. This does not limit your rights under Australian Consumer Law where an item is faulty, damaged, incorrectly supplied, or otherwise fails to meet a consumer guarantee. We do not accept returns, exchanges, or refunds where a customer has changed their mind, selected the wrong item, ordered the incorrect size, colour, or variant, found the item cheaper elsewhere, or no longer requires the product.

In rare and exceptional circumstances, Melbourne Tattoo Supplies may, at its sole discretion, offer a store credit as a goodwill gesture. Any store credit offered does not constitute an obligation to accept future change of mind returns.

This policy does not limit or exclude any rights you may have under Australian Consumer Law, including where a product is faulty, damaged, incorrectly supplied, or otherwise fails to meet a consumer guarantee.

Most types of goods are exempt from being returned due to cross contamination / health and safety issues. Tattoo Inks, Tattoo needles / cartridges and other sterilized items cannot be returned so please choose carefully.

Warranty Returns

If there is a warranty issue please contact us before sending it back and we will work with you and the manufacturer to problem solve or to send the machines to their authorized repair team.

All warranty and defective/damaged product returns must fill in our Faulty Product Form before moving onto the next steps.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
Some warranty issues will need to be relayed directly back to the manufacturer.

Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again, it can take up to a week for the refund to process into your account.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Exchanges (if applicable)
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at team@melbournetattoosupplies.au , fill in our Faulty Product form and send your item to: Melbourne tattoo supplies pty ltd,  2/44 Mahoneys Rd, Thomastown 3074 Vic, Australia.

Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.

Shipping
To return your product, you should mail your product to: Melbourne tattoo supplies pty ltd, 2/44 Mahoneys Rd, Thomastown 3074 Vic, Australia.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

Returned to Sender / Uncollected Parcels

If an order is returned to sender due to an incorrect or incomplete shipping address provided at checkout, failure to collect from the post office or collection point, or unsuccessful delivery attempts, the customer will be responsible for the cost of re-shipping the order.

Once the parcel has been returned to us, we will contact you to arrange payment of the additional shipping fee before the order is re-sent.

Please ensure your shipping details are correct and monitor delivery notifications to avoid delays and additional charges.
