I started out tattooing one year ago and started with the cheaper skins until I improved. I then tried the better quality expensive skins until a pound of flesh was the last one I tried and it is by far now my favourite skin to use, for its realistic feel, thickness (and literally being able to tattoo on both sides of the skin), the feel of the needle cutting through the skin I found to be superior, it's ability to hold coloured inks and the quality of the outcome. I won't use anything else again until I am ready to tattoo on people full time, thanks Kevin.
