Cheyenne Start-up cable

Cheyenne tattoo machines are equipped with powerful motors that require a minimum voltage to start. Cheyenne power units always provide these when starting, regardless of the setting.  Machines such as the Cheyenne HAWK and SOL machines have powerful motors that can require a boost chip to start up.

Many modern power supplies, including all from the Cheyenne line, have that functionality built in. However, if you're using an older power supply without this feature, this cable will get your machine going.

If you want to connect a Cheyenne tattoo machine to another tattoo power supply that does not provide this starting voltage, the start-up cable ensures the required voltage.

Before purchasing, please make sure that your power supply does not already have boost feature built in. If it does, you will not need this cable.
